Service Agreement for Healing Support Services
1. Introduction
Welcome to Cultivate Lifeskills.com™. By using our healing support services, you agree to comply with following that govern your use of our services and outline the responsibilities of both parties.
2. Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years old to use our healing support services. If you are under 18, you must not use the site or services unless accompanied by or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who consents to your participation.
3. Suicide, Self-Harm, and Emergencies
Our supporters are not equipped to provide crisis intervention or emergency services. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges, or any mental health crisis – please seek immediate professional help. Or contact emergency services and/or suicide prevention hotlines. Neither the site nor its supporters are liable for any consequences related to crises including self-harm or suicide.
4. Nature of Service
Our service provides healing support services intended to offer emotional support through active, compassionate listening and empathetic presence etc. These services are not a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or counseling advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
5. No Medical or Therapeutic Advice
You acknowledge that our supporters are not licensed therapists, counselors, or medical professionals. The services are offered solely as healing support and emotional care. For any psychological, medical, or mental health concerns, you agree to seek appropriate professional help.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Information shared during sessions will be treated with the utmost discretion except where disclosure is required by law e.g., risk of harm to self or others. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
7. Session Conduct
You agree to engage respectfully and constructively during sessions. We commit to providing attentive, non-judgmental, and compassionate support. However, we reserve the right to terminate sessions if disrespectful, abusive, or harmful behavior occurs.
8. Payment and Cancellation
Payment terms, session durations, and cancellation guidelines are outlined at the bottom of each service’s page. Refunds or rescheduling will be handled as per the stated policies:
- Discount tiers are based on total sessions purchased.
- Packages must be paid in advance for discount eligibility.
- Client agrees to complete full payment within 48 hours of receiving payment instructions. Payment may be made via PayPal invoice or by following the instructions provided for check draft (Remote Created Check) payment. Failure to remit payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation or rescheduling of the appointment at our discretion.
- There are no refunds.
- Sessions unused after 3 months will expire.with the exception of the Deep Dive package, which expires in 4 months.
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- If you cancel or reschedule in under 24 hours, you forfeit your session.
- You can cancel or reschedule the same session no more than 2 times.
- If you miss an appointment without any notice you forfeit the session.
For your convenience, Cultivate Lifeskills™ may accept payments using a check draft, also known as a Remote Created Check (RCC). A check draft is a secure electronic payment method that allows us, with your explicit authorization, to withdraw service fees from your bank account.
To create a check draft/RCC you must give us permission—either in writing or electronically etc —to generate this payment. You will always be provided with the amount, date, and details of the transaction before anything is processed.
Why do we use check drafts?
- They offer a fast, reliable way to process payments.
- Payments by check draft are protected by banking regulations designed to prevent unauthorized transactions.
- Your authorization is required for each payment. You will never be billed by check draft without your prior, clear consent.
Your Rights and Security
- You have the right to request a copy of your authorization or ask about any check draft charges at any time.
- If you ever see a payment on your account that you do not recognize, contact us and your bank immediately for assistance and resolution.
- Your information is always handled securely in accordance with privacy and data protection standards.
If you have any questions about check drafts/RCCs, or prefer to use another payment method, please let us know. Our goal is to make payment as easy and transparent as possible for all our clients.
9. Limitations of Liability
We are not responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on information or emotional support received during sessions. Use our services as supplementary emotional support and not as professional medical, legal, or therapeutic guidance.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms periodically. You will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
